This wonderful, dark red wine and sky blue in color, sculpted glass mushroom represents fungus often seen in nature and created by John Gibbons of Eureka, California. It is a soft dark red and blue color cap, with same colored stem, the glass base is made with copper and silver tones. This art glass specimen is made to sit flat on a table or shelf. John tries to capture the essence of a mushroom in nature while highlighting the properties of glass. The mushroom is created with the color pattern on the top of the fungus creating an illusion of a freshly sprouted specimen.
