This hand blown glass octopus is an electric blue speckled with a deep purple. It measures about 8.5 inches wide and 6 inches tall with sinister eyes.

The turtle's shell is created by melting optical tubes of color into the molten glass. Then layers of color are added to the bottom and a thick layer of clear glass is added to the top, making the turtle optical and appear as though it is underwater. 

The bottom of each sculpture is hand signed by John Gibbons.

This sculpted glass sea turtle measures about 11.75 inches at its widest and about 1.75 inches tall. The shell and fins are made just like my starfish, with a thick layer of clear glass on top of a thin layer of organic colored glass. I have been working with glass for 19 years and have fixated on ocean creatures for the past 10!

The turtle's shell is created with a thin layer of Dichroic Glass added to the bottom of the starfish, which is metallic and glitter-like. The Dichro gives the appearance of shimmering sand. The color is covered by a thick layer of clear glass, creating a wet appearance, as though it is underwater.

These Amber Starfish Lamps have a warm glow and three earthy tide pool green starfish on each lamp base. They are sold in a pair and measure 24 inches tall by 15 inches wide.

Lamps come with an LED bulb.

This sculpted glass sea turtle measures about 10 inches at its widest and about 14.25 inches tall. The shell and fins are made just like my starfish, with a thick layer of clear glass on top of a thin layer of organic colored glass on the bottom. I call this a barnacle back turtle, because of the 3-D barnacle like pieces of glass in the shell of the turtle. The base of the turtle is a very thick creating undulating and optical colors. I have been working with glass for 20 years and have fixated on ocean creatures for the past 10.

This wonderful, red stem in color, sculpted glass mushroom represents fungus often seen in nature and created by John Gibbons of Eureka, California. It is a bright blue and white cap with a bright red colored stem, the glass base is made with cool blues and silver tones. This art glass specimen is made to sit flat on a table or shelf. John tries to capture the essence of a mushroom in nature while highlighting the properties of glass. The mushroom is created with the color pattern on the top of the fungus creating an illusion of a freshly sprouted specimen.
This beauty is about 5 inches in height.
