This hand sculpted glass starfish was created by John Gibbons of Eureka. This creeping starfish measures about 5.5 inches in diameter (from the longest two legs across).
I try to capture the essence of the starfish in a imaginative tide pool. The starfish is created with the color pattern on the bottom of the starfish that gets magnified from the thick layer of optical clear glass on the top, making the starfish almost look wet.
